Originally created as an adult summer library program, the Bolivar Book Club proved so popular that it is now a year-round program. The Bolivar Book Club moderator is Mike Emerson, who’s part of the Circulation staff at Robinson-Carpenter Memorial Library. Mike originally brainstormed ideas for a great summer library program that would get adult patrons excited about reading. After some consideration, Mike chose a book club format that features great – and maybe a little quirky – books by acclaimed authors that would not only be fun to read, but also fun to discuss among other avid readers.
The Bolivar Book Club meets on the 2nd Thursday of each month at 4 p.m. at the Robinson-Carpenter Memorial Library in Cleveland and is open to all adults who enjoy sharing their reading experiences and insights with other readers.

The Bolivar Book Club is taking a break and will resume with a program in May. Watch for flyers in the library or on this page for information about the book that will be discussed in May and when it will become available for check-out.
